CLASSES
At Theatrix, we believe that a strong grounding in classical ballet technique is the foundation for success in all other styles of dance. That said, we offer classes in not just classical ballet but also:
EISTEDDFODS
For students wishing to compete in dance competitions, private lessons are offered to learn solos and duos in styles of choice from term 2 onwards. Theatrix has enjoyed excellent results at Melbourne's most recognised dance eisteddfods over many years. The opportunity for students to have one-on-one training and to perform regularly is excellent for a dancer's confidence and technical development.
END OF YEAR CONCERT
At the end of each year, Theatrix students perform on stage for families and friends of the studio. This is an exciting opportunity for every student to demonstrate their learning for the year, apply their skills in themed routines and experience the joy of performing on a theatrically equipped stage. For the children, this is a culmination of their efforts in technical classes throughout the year and a special time for families to celebrate this together.
